CURRICULUM TUTORING

The most important job an Ivy Ed curriculum tutor has is to identify your child’s strengths. Those qualities can then be utilized to enhance your child’s comprehension of more difficult subjects or to enrich your academically gifted student who is not being challenged by the standard school curriculum. Because a tutor’s understanding of the way your child thinks develops over time, students see the same tutor each week. Ivy Ed hires academic experts and then trains them to teach all types of students. Homework assignments are tailored to your child, not the other way around. And if there is a way to make a topic more fun, we will use it! Ivy Educational Services also has a proud track record of helping students with diagnosed learning disabilities succeed in school.

~MIDDLE SCHOOL~

The academic workload and degree of difficulty increase dramatically as students move from elementary to middle school. Ivy Ed’s tutors are trained to help with this transition and to prepare students for high school level work. Study skills coaching is often an especially important component of tutoring middle school students.
